Webley (International) Ltd (Webley) of Willenhall, West Midlands, UK, the iconic British Shooting company established in 1790,the major sponsors of the ‘School Challenge’ organised by the Oxford Gun Company congratulated the winners today of the annual event held at the Shooting School on 11th March 2009.

“We were delighted to sponsor this important event for a second year and were thrilled that it drew over 160 entries from both private and state schools alike. New shooters are the lifeblood of our sport, and Webley has a long history of encouraging ‘Young Guns’. said Mike Hurney CEO of Webley. “I congratulate David Florent [Co-proprietor] of The Oxford Gun Company for all his hard work in organising this great day at his beautiful shooting ground, and all the schools for their enthusiastic participation ” he added.

Chris Lane of Millfield School in [Location]accepted a Webley & Scott 900 Series Shotgun for Millfield School’s 1st team’s triumph in the ‘Senior’ competition with a score of 225.Webley also provided a host of other ‘goodies’ including gun slips and Shooting vests for successful participants” said David Florent.
