Webley & Scott 220 SXS are true seven-pin hand-detachable sidelocks, the hallmark of the worlds most highly regarded and valuable shotguns. Two independent firing mechanisms are mounted on sideplates carefully inletted into the stock and mated with the receiver. Superior to 5-pin configurations, 7-pin sidelocks like the Webley & Scott 220 have an intercepting safety sear and an extra pin anchoring the bridle to provide added stability for the lock mechanism along with greater durability.
