Press Release: WEBLEY LAUNCHES UNIQUE DUAL-STROKE PISTOL AT THE MIDLAND GAMEFAIR

Webley (International) Ltd (Webley) of Willenhall, West Midlands, UK, the iconic British Shooting company established in 1790, announced today the introduction of an all new, patent applied for, dual-stroke pneumatic pistol –the ALECTO ™ at The Midland Game Fair, Weston Park, 19th & 20th September 2009.


“This ultra-easy to cock pistol goes way beyond traditional single-stroke pneumatics, with the introduction of a patent pending dual-stroke technology that allows muzzle velocity to be set at 120 metres per second (œmps) with a single stroke, increasing to 160 mps with a second no sweat cocking action. Maximum muzzle energy is limited to 5.8 ft lbs said Mike Hurney, CEO of Webley. The new Alecto is ergonomically perfect, available with either right or left handed dedicated grips each incorporating a comfortable palm and thumb resthe added.


The Alecto delivers match-grade accuracy from a rifled steel barrel with the total absence of recoil. It features a fully adjustable trigger; left or right orientation; forward or backward orientation; Trigger pull adjustable from 4lbs down to 12 ounces. Add to this auto-safety, adjustable front and rear sights, an accessories rail for the mounting of Lasers or Red Dot sights and a fully adjustable pistol grip, making this the pistol-shooters dream gun stated Simon Atkins, Webleys Technical and Quality Manager.


The Alecto is presented in a rigid Bespoke ABS carrying case that also includes Allen keys, cleaning rod and cleaning oil.
