Webley (International) Ltd (Webley) of Willenhall, West Midlands, UK, the iconic British Shooting company established in 1790, announced today at the British Shooting Show,Newark,the launch of its all-new 2000 series of premium boxlock shotguns.

Over the last three years Webley & Scott(tm) have grown to be the number three best-selling shotgun brand in the UK due to the combination of extremely well specified products, coupled with Webley's traditional reputation for excellent value-for-money and our unique market-leading 'Lifetime Warranty' said Mike Hurney, CEO of Webley.

We chose to launch this impressive new range of Over and Under and Side-by-Side guns, which are available in both 12ga and 20ga, and with barrel lengths of either 28 or 30, at the British Shooting Show, because the show does ‘exactly what it says on the tin. No Ferrets, Falconry or Fairs-just guns and gun accessories, and we knew we would find an enthusiastic audience, added Hurney.

All the guns have stunning looks, featuring genuine bone-charcoal colour case hardened actions and forend metal work, exquistely jeweled mono-bloc walls and High-gloss blued barrels. The actions are CNC machined from a billet of advanced Molybdenum-chrome steel for action strength and longevity, which complements the magnum chambers and chrome lined barrels that are proofed for the use of steel shot in Birmingham. Over and under models come complete with 5 thin-wall Teague style choke tubes and choke wrench said Steve Hoare, Webleys Sales Manager.
